Landscapes and Seascapes of Scotland
The Landscapes and Seascapes from the West coast of Scotland and the Outer Hebrides are awe inspiring. The views of the islands and the beaches provide memories from way back. It is a part of the UK that has to be visited. And the weather doesn’t matter.
North York Moors
This is close to home and always provide peace. I enjoy the open moors and the big skies.
The North York Moors Railway (NYMR) is centred on Grosmont and steam trains run between Pickering and Whitby as a regular service.
The Yorkshire Dales
Yorkshire has two National Parks. The North York Moors lies to the East and reaches the East Coast, The Yorkshire Dales lies to the centre and West and straddles the Pennines. The geology of each is very different
